I love doing videos (never did, but somehow started and now cant stop). So I have a channel on YouTube and have posted almost every week. This week I was late because of the holiday, with preparations and shopping although my son and daughter in law hosted. It was great getting together with family.

The holiday season is here and what better time is there to dress up. I know most of us like to sit home in our sweats or lounging pjs...especially if you live in a cold weather state like I do. But right now its Fall and its the perfect weather. Not too hot and not too cold....just right. Fashion is a statement to be made and fall clothes are amazing.
But every outfit needs a little something more...and what better item than jewelry. We all love it and we all wear it. Whether its the real stuff or just costume jewelry (some of it looks real) we are all inclined to put some on. And there is so much of it....from earrings, to rings, to bracelets, to necklaces.
So I am here to tell you that you can look like a princess in a beautiful outfit and adding some jewelry to it. Avon Campaign 24 is all about jewelry and there is something for everyone. Here are just a few pictures of what is coming out today....

As I get older and older I find myself looking in the mirror more. Those wrinkles and age spots keep creeping up and every time I push them back....they push forward. But I will never give up. When I was in my 30s I found that I needed to do more with my skincare then I was doing. Washing my face was never enough. The older I got the more I needed not only a good cleanser, but a serum and a moisturizer.
So I got rid of those store bought products and researched what was best for my skin. Thats when I came across Avon and until this day (in my 70s) I have always had a great skincare routine. Every morning and every evening..even if I was too tired.
And of course dont forget that serum I spoke about...it goes under your moisturizer. This is a Bakuchiol serum
And of course my very favorite moisturizer, Anew Ultimate, to top everything off. Its a day creme and has SPF in it too.

I was that person and without my mascara...well you cant even see my eyes. So when I discovered a mascara that hugs my lashes and has lengthening fibers for volume....I quickly purchased it. How often do you put on lipstick? Just when you go out somewhere or when you are even at home doing nothing, Ok, we never do nothing. There is always something to be done....whether its cleaning or laundry or even sitting to read a book. How often do we get a chance to read a book. Anyway, back to the lipstick part.
I use lipstick every day....even if I am home all day relaxing watching football. I find if I dont my lips get chapped quickly because of the heat in the house. But I also wear it for another reason. What if someone pops on by for a visit. Always wanting to look my best, I make sure I have applied makeup in the morning and of course that includes my lipstick.

Did you know there is more to life than makeup? Dont use makeup...well, lucky you. I think most of us need a little...maybe mascara, eyeliner. As you get older foundation doesnt seem to do it. I myself, have used very little - actually, I use a tinted moisturizer. It moisturizes my skin at the same time it gives me a bit of cover for my face. I also use a serum under my moisturizer. Dont use a serum? I will definitely do a separate post on the benefits. It has changed my skin.

Hi everyone. This is my first beauty post and I hope you will subscribe and follow me on my beauty journey. At the age of 30 I realized that in order to keep my skin smooth, I will have to start now with some beauty products. Soap and water wasnt doing it anymore. I sometimes used cleansers and moisturizers that were sold in the drug store, but they made my skin very dry.
So I started using Avon as my beauty regimen and here I am at 76 with what I consider pretty good skin. We all have skin problems and we all treat them in different ways. There is also so many products out there that its hard to pick the right one for you....and it gets expensive trying them all. So every Monday I will be featuring a skin care product for various skin types and if you see something you like, please reach out to me. This first post will serve as an introduction to me and my life. I am a mother of five and grandma to 9 boys. I am now retired (was a School Secretary) and have been working my Beauty Business for almost 9 years now and I love it. I meet so many interesting people and help them with their skin care among other problems they may have - like picking out the perfect lipstick.
